God, the Definitive belief
Let us start with an incident narrated by Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook to Mr. Narendra Modi the prime minister of India during their meeting once. Mr. Zuckerberg was not doing good with his business and was under pressure to perform. He was advised by Mr. Steve Jobs the founder of Apple to visit one temple in India, located near Nainital in Uttarakhand India. Mr. Zuckerberg visited the temple and stayed there for a couple of days. He felt peace in his mind and found the courage to stand up and again, he went back with a lots of strength inside and the rest is the history. This is a temple of Lord Hanuman, made by Shri Neem Karoli Baba (नीम करोली बाबा), a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman.
Each of us can do miracles provided we get some support system. It may be in any form like monetary support, moral support, praise, inspiration, etc. In past also many people have touched the sky, are touching, and will keep touching. Children in their childhood do wonders when they get support from their parents or teacher in particular. When we grow and want to excel in life we take support from God. We pray to God before starting a new venture or task or even in between. Again we bow down to God, feel obliged once the task is accomplished.
If we leave few atheists we all believe in Supreme Power who is running this Universe so perfectly. He may be called God, nature, or whatsoever but we all believe in him in one or the other way and own him. Pray him, feel blessed to have this life. Somebody has rightly said that Life is an opportunity.
This has always been a question that who we are, wherefrom we have come, and where will go back, once we leave this planet. This is for sure that there is a supreme power, who is almighty and affecting our life day in and day out. The best example is our birth in a particular country, in a particular family with a particular belief system. This supreme power keeps us rewarding for our good deeds and penalized for wrong doings. In general, we all believe that this supreme power or nature has perfect accounts. In today’s scenario when we see a lot of floods, storms, pandemics, and all, we say that this is the result of playing with nature, so mother nature is balancing.
From here only perhaps the concept of God, the almighty takes shape. This belief developed certain belief systems, certain discipline in our life which gave an approach to lead a peaceful better life.
There is ample evidence that suggests that God exists, the superpower, the creator, the sustainer, the destroyer. One such example is the motion theory. We all know that for any motion some force is required, still, the earth is moving (rotating) around the sun, the moon is rotating around the earth. That too in a very précised manner. Therefrom only we could mathematically do our time management.
If we try to understand who is controlling all this and from where we all are clueless. Still, that is happening and nobody knows since when rest all is the estimation work. This makes us believe that super controller is there and for our convenience, we call him God or nature.
Our faith in this superpower makes our life easy. If we believe in God we bow down to him and surrender. We can not come out the winner always and at that point in time, the name of God saves us. In one of the Indian scripture called Srimad Bhagwat Geeta, God says himself.
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७
Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana ।
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani ।।
Meaning– Your right is to perform your work, but never to the results. Never be motivated by the results of your actions, nor should you be attached to not performing your prescribed duties.
This Srimad Bhadawar Geeta shloka clearly advises to work without any attachment. The result or outcome shall be surrendered to the almighty, the God. This will help us to keep balanced and God will do us the favors judiciously. This is the belief, the ultimate solace.
